ANZ opens new digital branch for Wodonga community

ANZ today opened a new digital branch in Wodonga to provide convenient and secure banking services for customers in North East Victoria.

The transformed Wodonga branch now includes an open-plan layout and roaming tellers, as well as assisted digital self-service banking options including three ANZ Smart ATMs that offer 24-hour accessibility.

Commenting on the opening of the branch North East Victoria District Manager, Simon Mallia said: “Our Wodonga customers have been embracing ANZ’s digital channels and this modern branch format reflects the way many of them now prefer to do their banking.

“Our customers tend to only visit our branch when they need advice on important matters such as home or business loans, and the new layout provides a more comfortable setting to navigate these often-complex decisions while saving time on everyday banking tasks.

“The opening of this digital branch shows we are determined to meet our customers’ changing needs and we will continue to do so in the future.”

The branch will continue to provide full banking services, including home loans, financial planning and small business specialists.

Long-time ANZ customers and successful local business couple Vicki and Alan Hodgson will cut the ribbon at the official opening on Friday 8 September at about 9am.

The new digital branch is located at Tenancy 16, Corner of Elgin Boulevard and High Street Wodonga in the new Wodonga Plaza. Opening hours will remain from 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
