ANZ'S new card gets customers travelling with a complimentary return flight and more
ANZ will today launch a new credit card that gives customers a complimentary return flight within Australia and two complimentary lounge passes each year, and no overseas transaction fees on purchases.
The new ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures card also offers a great rewards program and a range of other benefits, including uncapped rewards points so customers can get the most out of every dollar they spend.
ANZ Managing Director Products and Marketing, Matt Boss, said: “We developed this market-leading card specifically for customers who want to travel, and it represents great value for them.
“Not only do they get a great card they can use for everyday purchases, they also get a return flight within Australia with Virgin Australia and two Virgin Australia single entry lounge passes each year, and no overseas transaction fees on purchases or international retail websites.
“ANZ is the only major Australian bank to offer a card with all these features and we are still the only Australian bank to offer customers a digital wallet whether they have an Apple or Android smartphone, which this new card will work with.”
Mr Boss said ANZ offered a range of other credit cards for customers who don’t have the travel bug, but needed a card for a variety of other uses.
“We want to make sure we are offering our customers what they want and that is exactly what this card represents for keen travellers,” he said.
The Rewards Travel Adventures card is available from today as an ANZ Visa and American Express card and provides one complimentary Virgin Australia domestic return flight and two Virgin Australia Lounge passes each year. It also offers complimentary overseas travel and medical insurance, 55 days interest free on purchases and no fees on purchases made overseas.
Customers simply need to spend $500 in the first three months to activate these benefits, which are then offered every year just by paying the annual fee of $225.
