ANZ appoints Mary MacLeod CFO, International and Institutional Banking

ANZ today announced Mary MacLeod has been appointed CFO, International and Institutional Banking, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Shayne Elliott and CEO International & Institutional Banking Andrew Géczy.

The role is responsible for managing the financial performance and regulatory reporting for International and Institutional Banking across ANZ’s 33 markets.

 

Ms MacLeod was Deputy CEO of ICBC International and prior to this worked in a range of senior executive roles in global banking and corporate finance roles at Deutsche Bank in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

 

Mr Elliott said: “Mary’s significant international banking experience coupled with her strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in our key regions will bring additional strength to both our finance and IIB leadership teams.”

 

Ms MacLeod, a trained accountant, will join ANZ in October starting in Hong Kong before relocating to Melbourne.

 

Group Treasurer Rick Moscati will continue as acting CFO IIB and will assist Ms MacLeod with her initial transition, while Adrian Went will continue as acting Group Treasurer.
