These announcements follow the recent appointment of Kerri Thompson to the new position of Managing Director Bancassurance and Customer Experience, ANZ Wealth, reporting to ANZ Global Wealth CEO Joyce Phillips.

Commenting on the changes, Global Wealth CEO Joyce Phillips said: “Alexis has an impressive career in wealth management, spanning over 20 years and I’m very pleased to have someone of her calibre joining our team, as she brings with her a global perspective and passion for the customer.

“I’m also very pleased to appoint Neil Younger to the role of General Manager Advice and Open Market Channels. Neil is an experienced wealth professional and in this role will be responsible for unlocking value from our advice businesses and channels globally,” Ms Phillips said.

As a result of these changes, Managing Director Advice and Distribution, Paul Barrett, has decided to leave ANZ to pursue the next stage of his career. Mr Barrett’s last day with ANZ will be 16 September.

“I’d like to thank Paul for his significant contribution to ANZ. He has played a key role supporting our advisers and staff to achieve industry leading knowledge and professionalism, and I’d like to wish him all the very best for the future,” Ms Phillips said.
