Glenn Maguire appointed Chief Economist, Asia Pacific
ANZ today announced the immediate appointment of Glenn Maguire as Chief Economist, Asia Pacific where he will be responsible for economic research in South and South-East Asia and the Pacific.
Mr Maguire has been acting in the role since May 2013 and has extensive Asian Economics and banking experience, having spent 16 years at Société Générale in roles including the Head of Asian Economic Research based in Hong Kong.
ANZ Global Chief Economist Warren Hogan said: “It’s pleasing to be able to appoint one of Asia’s top economists to lead our team out of Singapore and I’m confident his insights will be highly valued by all our clients.”
