ANZ receives CANSTAR CANNEX Innovation Excellence award for ‘ANZ Business Insights’
ANZ has received the CANSTAR CANNEX* Innovation Excellence award for its free website for small business customers ‘ANZ Business Insights’.
According to CANSTAR CANNEX, ANZ Business Insights performed strongly in its degree of innovation against measures such as uniqueness and breadth of impact to customers.
CANSTAR CANNEX compared over 80 products in the ‘Innovation Excellence in Financial Services’ category. ANZ General Manager Small Business Banking, Nick Reade said: “This award is a great recognition of the work we are doing for small businesses. ANZ Business Insights is a free website that can be used by small businesses and startups to analyse sales and market share information and customer demographics, as well as understand local industry business trends and issues. “
ANZ Business Insights is designed to help existing small business owners see how they compare against their competitors but also start-ups looking to start their own small business. It will help these people gain a meaningful and complete picture of the small business industry.
“As part of ANZ’s ongoing commitment to supporting Australian small business, this is just one of our offerings that we provide to small businesses to help them grow and develop their business successfully,” said Mr Reade.
Other recent initiatives to help support small business include:
• Complimentary A-Z Reviews for small business customers – a meeting with an ANZ Small Business Specialist to review and put together a customised solution specifically for their business needs.
• A series of free online education courses and tools to help build the skills and knowledge of business owners including start-up business courses, webinars on business feasibility and cash flow planning, and business plan templates available through ANZ’s Small Business Hub, register free at www.thesbhub.com.au
• A free business planning CD, available by calling 1800 689 765.
• An agreement with online accounting software provider Xero to provide small business customers and their advisors with an online, integrated banking and accounting solution that allows them to understand trading performance and cash flow position in real-time.
