ANZ opens dedicated regional business centre in central New South Wales

ANZ today officially opened a dedicated Regional Business Centre in Dubbo, New South Wales, further strengthening its commitment to support regional and rural Australia.

The Regional Business Centre, located at 1/168 Brisbane Street in Dubbo brings together Commercial and Agribusiness banking services, providing customers’ easier access to industry specialists and an extensive range of products and services to meet their needs.

ANZ General Manager, Regional Commercial Banking, Tania Motton said: “We support more than 900 commercial and agribusiness customers in and around the Central West region so it makes sense to invest in a new regional hub that will provide a specialist service for our customers.”

“Our Relationship and Agribusiness Managers are also local members of the community, so they know what it’s like to run a farm or a small business but importantly can also help our customers with critical issues such as cash flow management and seasonal planning,” Ms Motton said.

ANZ supports a vast range of industries in the region including mining, services to mining, agriculture, property and business services. “With the recent floods in the area it has been a very challenging period for our customers and today’s opening reinforces not only our commitment to local business and farmers but also to the wider region,” said Ms Motton.

“Our promise to customers is to deliver fast, accurate and knowledgeable service and by improving access to our Relationship and Agribusiness Managers, we are removing a key barrier in delivering on this promise,” said Ms Motton.

ANZ is working towards opening several dedicated regional business centres across Australia this year. This dedicated ANZ regional hub adds to ANZ’s already large regional and rural presence across Australia.

ANZ Regional Commercial Banking has more than 300 regional and rural locations around the country and has employed more than 100 new Agribusiness Managers in the last year.
