ANZ continues expanding banking network in Vietnam to meet growing customer needs (PDF 56kB)

ANZ Bank (Vietnam) Limited today continued the expansion of its banking network with the opening of a Transaction Centre in Hanoi and a branch outlet in Ho Chi Minh City that will provide more convenient banking for local customers. 

ANZ plans to open a further six new transaction offices over the next month. The new outlets are part of a network expansion program that ANZ commenced following ANZ’s incorporation in Vietnam in October 2008

 

ANZ Chief Executive Officer Vietnam, Ms Thuy Dam, said: “ANZ’s new Transaction Centre in Hanoi and branch outlet in Ho Chi Minh City reflect ANZ’s strong commitment to continue investing in Vietnam and continually developing the services we offer our customers.”

The new Transaction Centre at 14 Le Thai To, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Branch at Melinh Square are full-service outlets and offer personal finance lending and deposit products, including a variety of transactional, savings and investment accounts together with consumer lending products such as credit cards, auto finance and home loans.

 

These ANZ outlets also offer corporate financial services including lending, trade finance (export and import), cash management and markets (foreign exchange). ANZ is one of the world's leading banks and one of the largest international banks in the Asia Pacific region. It has assets of AUD$503 billion as at 31 March 2009 and a long-term credit rating of AA (Standard & Poor’s).

 

ANZ was one of the first foreign banks to operate in Vietnam and establishing its first office in 1993. ANZ offers a full range of international banking services across Institutional and Corporate Banking, Financial Markets, Trade Finance, SME Banking and Retail Banking. ANZ also offers customers the convenience of ATMs and Mobile-Banker facilities.
