Most recently, Mr Kim was Head of Commercial Real Estate and Structured Trade Finance at Standard Chartered First Bank in Korea. He has significant Asian experience working for the past 20 years in banking in Asia, the Middle East, the United States, Europe and South America.

ANZ’s two most senior representatives in Malaysia have also been appointed this month.

Mr Ashok Ramamurthy has been appointed Deputy Group Managing Director of AmBank Group in addition to his current role as Group Chief Financial Officer at AmBank. During his 15 months as the Group CFO, Mr Ramamurthy has played a key role in building AmBank Group’s financial performance disciplines. As the Group CFO and Deputy Group Managing Director he will report to AmBank Group Managing Director Mr Cheah Tek Kuang.
